أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو حَازِمٍ الْحَافِظُ أنبأ أَبُو أَحْمَدَ الْحَافِظُ ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ الثَّقَفِيُّ ثنا قُتَيْبَةُ ثنا اللَّيْثُ عَنْ عُقَيْلٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ جَدَّ أَيُّوبَ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ تُوُفِّيَ بِالسُّقْيَا زَمَنَ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَفَّانَ ؓ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ فَلَمْ يُخَمِّرْ رَأْسَهُ
English Translation
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'Allah the Most High says: I have no reward for My believing servant if I take away his beloved one from the people of the world and he bears it with patience — except Paradise.'
