وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو صَالِحِ بْنُ أَبِي طَاهِرٍ أنبأ جَدِّي يَحْيَى بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ قَالَ وَكِيعٌ فِي قَوْلِهِ جَعَلَ الْيَمِينَ عَلَى الشِّمَالِ وَالشِّمَالَ عَلَى الْيَمِينِ يَعْنِي تَحَوَّلُ السَّنَةِ الْجَدْبَةِ إِلَى الْخِصْبِ كَمَا تَحَوَّلُ هَذَا الْيَمِينِ عَلَى الشِّمَالِ
English Translation
Abu Salih ibn Abi Tahir narrated to us... Waki' said regarding the statement 'He placed the right on the left and the left on the right': It means the year of drought transforms to abundance, just as this right side is transformed to the left.
