English Translation
Abu al-Husayn ibn Bishran narrated to us in Baghdad... from Ubadah ibn al-Samit (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: I asked the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) about people saying on the two Eids: 'May Allah accept from us and from you.' He said: 'That is the practice of the People of the Two Books.' He disliked it. Abd al-Khaliq ibn Zayd is munkar al-hadith (narrator of rejected hadiths), as stated by al-Bukhari.
