أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ بِشْرَانَ الْعَدْلُ بِبَغْدَادَ أنبأ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّفَّارُ ثنا سَعْدَانُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ ثنا مُعَاذُ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ التَّيْمِيُّ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ وَالْحَسَنَ بْنَ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ وَجَابِرَ بْنَ زَيْدٍ وَسَعِيدَ بْنَ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ يُصَلُّونَ قَبْلَ الْإِمَامِ فِي الْعِيدِ
English Translation
Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz informed us... from Anas ibn Malik who said: If he missed the Eid prayer with the imam, he would gather his family and freedmen, then Abdullah ibn Abi Utbah, his freed slave, would lead them, praying two rak'ahs in which he would make takbir.
