Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz informed us... from Abu Abd al-Rahman al-Sulami who said: They were more emphatic in making takbir on al-Fitr than on al-Adha. Al-Shafi'i narrated with his chain from a group of the Tabi'in that they used to make takbir on the night of al-Fitr in the mosque, proclaiming it loudly, and from a group of them, they proclaimed it loudly when going out to the prayer ground.
