وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حَمْشَاذٍ الْعَدْلُ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الصَّمَدِ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ ثنا زِيَادُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ ثنا جَارِيَةُ بْنُ هَرِمٍ ثنا حُمَيْدٌ الطَّوِيلُ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ كَانَ أَصْحَابُ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ يُلَقِّنُ بَعْضُهُمْ بَعْضًا فِي الصَّلَاةِ
English Translation
Abu 'Abdullah al-Hafiz informed us... from 'Ali ibn Hamshadh... from Ziyad ibn Ayyub... from Jariyah ibn Harm... from Humayd al-Tawil, from Anas ibn Malik who said: 'The companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) used to prompt each other (with Qur'anic verses) during the prayer.'
