وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو حَازِمٍ الْحَافِظُ ثنا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ الْحَافِظُ أنبأ أَبُو يَعْقُوبَ إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ الْفَقِيهُ بِوَاسِطَ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ الزُّهْرِيُّ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الْجُعْفِيُّ ثنا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ حَدَّثَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ لَا جُمُعَةَ عَلَى مُسَافِرٍ هَذَا هُوَ الصَّحِيحُ مَوْقُوفٌ وَرَوَاهُ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ نَافِعٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ فَرَفَعَهُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ
English Translation
Abu Hazim al-Hafiz informed us... from Ka'b ibn Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the first one to lead them in the Friday prayer at al-Baqi' al-Mushshi was As'ad ibn Zurarah (may Allah be pleased with him). Abu Hazim narrated via his chain that the Prophet (peace be upon him) came to Medina and Mus'ab ibn 'Umayr had already led them in Friday prayer before the Prophet's arrival.
