أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا يَحْيَى بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى أنبأ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ ثنا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ أنبأ أَبُو حَيَّانَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ قَالَ عَلِيٌّ ؓ لَا صَلَاةَ لِجَارِ الْمَسْجِدِ إِلَّا فِي الْمَسْجِدِ قِيلَ وَمَنْ جَارُ الْمَسْجِدِ؟ قَالَ مَنْ أَسْمَعَهُ الْمُنَادِي
English Translation
Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said: 'There is no prayer for the neighbor of the mosque except in the mosque.' It was asked: 'Who is the neighbor of the mosque?' He said: 'The one who can hear the caller (mu'adhin).'
