English Translation
The Shaykh (al-Bayhaqi) said: 'What is meant by there being no prayer except the obligatory one when the iqamah is called is that if one has not prayed the regular sunnah prayer, he should not start it once the iqamah is called. But if he has already started it, the scholars have differed on whether he should complete it or break it.'
