English Translation
Malik ibn Huwayirth narrated that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said to him or to a companion of his: 'When the time for prayer comes, call the adhan, then establish the prayer, then let the elder of you two lead you.' In the narration of Maslamah, he said: 'At that time we were close in knowledge.' And in the narration of Isma'il, Khalid said: 'I said to Abu Qilabah: What about recitation?' He said: 'They were close in that too.'
