وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ وَأَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ الْمُزَكِّي وَأَبُو نَصْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ شَبِيبٍ الْفَامِيُّ وَأَبُو صَادِقٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الصَّيْدَلَانِيُّ قَالُوا ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ وَيُونُسُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا وُضِعَ الْعَشَاءُ وَحَضَرَتِ الصَّلَاةُ فَابْدَءَوا بِهِ قَبْلَ صَلَاةِ الْمَغْرِبِ
English Translation
Ibn Mas'ud said: "Whoever would like to meet Allah tomorrow as a Muslim, let him guard these five prayers where they are announced. Allah has ordained for your Prophet the ways of guidance, and these prayers are among those ways. If you pray in your houses as this man who stays behind prays in his house, you would have abandoned the sunnah of your Prophet. If you abandoned the sunnah of your Prophet, you would be astray."
