English Translation
Abu Hurairah narrated that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "When one of you sleeps, the devil ties three knots at the back of his neck. On each knot he says: 'You have a long night ahead, so sleep.' If he wakes and remembers Allah, one knot is untied. If he performs wudu, another is untied. If he prays, the third is untied, and he begins his morning energetic and in good spirits. Otherwise, he begins his morning sluggish and in bad spirits."
