أنبأ أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ أنبأ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ثنا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي حَدَّثَتْنِي أُمُّ الْحَسَنِ يَعْنِي جَدَّةَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الْعَدَوِيِّ عَنْ مُعَاذَةَ قَالَتْ سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ ؓ عَنِ الْحَائِضِ يُصِيبُ ثَوْبَهَا الدَّمُ قَالَتْ تَغْسِلُهُ فَإِنْ لَمْ يَذْهَبْ أَثَرُهُ فَلْتُغَيِّرْهُ بِشَيْءٍ مِنْ صُفْرَةٍ وَقَالَتْ لَقَدْ كُنْتُ أَحِيضُ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ ثَلَاثَ حِيَضٍ جَمِيعًا لَا أَغْسِلُ لِي ثَوْبًا حَدَّثَتْنِي أُمُّ الْحَسَنِ يَعْنِي جَدَّةَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الْعَدَوِيِّ عَنْ مُعَاذَةَ قَالَتْ سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ ؓ عَنِ الْحَائِضِ يُصِيبُ ثَوْبَهَا الدَّمُ قَالَتْ تَغْسِلُهُ فَإِنْ لَمْ يَذْهَبْ أَثَرُهُ فَلْتُغَيِّرْهُ بِشَيْءٍ مِنْ صُفْرَةٍ وَقَالَتْ لَقَدْ كُنْتُ أَحِيضُ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ ثَلَاثَ حِيَضٍ جَمِيعًا لَا أَغْسِلُ لِي ثَوْبًا
English Translation
Abu Ali al-Rudhbari informed us, from Muhammad ibn Bakr, from Abu Dawud, from Ahmad ibn Ibrahim, from Abd al-Samad ibn Abd al-Warith, from his father. Umm al-Hasan, the grandmother of Abu Bakr al-Adawi, narrated to us, from Mu'adhah who said: I asked Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) about the menstruating woman whose garment is stained with blood. She said: "Wash it, and if the stain does not go away, change it with some yellow dye." She said: "I used to menstruate while with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) for three menstrual periods in total without washing my garment."
