English Translation
Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz informed us, from Abu Abdullah Muhammad ibn Ya'qub, from Imran ibn Musa, Hasan ibn Sufyan, and Ahmad ibn al-Nadr ibn Abd al-Wahhab, who said: Muhammad ibn Ubayd ibn Hisab narrated to us, from Abu Awanah, from Qatadah, from Zurarah ibn Awfa, from Sa'd ibn Hisham, from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "The one who is proficient with the Quran is with the noble and dutiful scribes [angels], and the one who recites the Quran while stammering in it and finding it difficult has two rewards." Muslim narrated it in his Sahih from Muhammad ibn Ubayd and others, and al-Bukhari narrated it from the hadith of Shu'bah from Qatadah.
