وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ فُورَكٍ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ثنا يُونُسُ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ وَثنا حَمَّادٌ (ح) وَأنبأ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ بْنُ عَبْدَانَ أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الصَّفَّارُ ثنا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى ثنا أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا يَعْنِي السَّالَحِينِيَّ ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ سِمَاكٍ عَنْ جَابِرٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَقْرَأُ فِي الظُّهْرِ وَالْعَصْرِ وَالسَّمَاءِ وَالطَّارِقِ وَالسَّمَاءِ ذَاتِ الْبُرُوجِ لَفْظُ حَدِيثِ أَبِي دَاوُدَ وَفِي رِوَايَةِ السَّالَحِينِيِّ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَقْرَأُ فِي الظُّهْرِ وَالْعَصْرِ بِ السَّمَاءِ ذَاتِ الْبُرُوجِ وَالسَّمَاءِ وَالطَّارِقِ وَنَحْوِهَا مِنَ السُّوَرِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَقْرَأُ فِي الظُّهْرِ وَالْعَصْرِ وَالسَّمَاءِ وَالطَّارِقِ وَالسَّمَاءِ ذَاتِ الْبُرُوجِ لَفْظُ حَدِيثِ أَبِي دَاوُدَ وَفِي رِوَايَةِ السَّالَحِينِيِّ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَقْرَأُ فِي الظُّهْرِ وَالْعَصْرِ بِ السَّمَاءِ ذَاتِ الْبُرُوجِ وَالسَّمَاءِ وَالطَّارِقِ وَنَحْوِهَا مِنَ السُّوَرِ
English Translation
Abu Bakr ibn Furak narrated to us, from Abdullah ibn Ja'far, from Yunus ibn Habib, from Abu Dawud, from Hammad. And Abu al-Hasan ibn Abdan informed us, from Ahmad ibn Ubayd al-Saffar, from Bishr ibn Musa, from Abu Zakariyya al-Salihini, from Hammad ibn Salamah, from Simak, from Jabir, that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) used to recite in the Dhuhr and Asr prayers "By the sky and the night comer" [Surah al-Tariq] and "By the sky containing great stars" [Surah al-Buruj]. This is the wording of Abu Dawud's hadith. In the narration of al-Salihini: The Prophet (peace be upon him) used to recite in the Dhuhr and Asr prayers "By the sky containing great stars" [Surah al-Buruj] and "By the sky and the night comer" [Surah al-Tariq] and similar surahs.
