أنبأ أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ زَيْدُ بْنُ أَبِي هَاشِمٍ الْعَلَوِيُّ بِالْكُوفَةِ أنبأ أَبُو جَعْفَرِ بْنُ دُحَيْمٍ الشَّيْبَانِيُّ أنبأ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ أنبأ وَكِيعٌ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنِ الْمَعْرُورِ بْنِ سُوَيْدٍ قَالَ خَرَجْنَا مَعَ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ حُجَّاجًا فَصَلَّى بِنَا الْفَجْرَ فَقَرَأَ أَلَمْ تَرَ وَلِإِيلَافِ قُرَيْشٍ خَرَجْنَا مَعَ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ حُجَّاجًا فَصَلَّى بِنَا الْفَجْرَ فَقَرَأَ أَلَمْ تَرَ وَلِإِيلَافِ قُرَيْشٍ
English Translation
Abu al-Qasim Zayd ibn Abi Hashim al-Alawi in Kufah informed us, from Abu Ja'far ibn Duhaym al-Shaybani, from Ibrahim ibn Abdullah, from Waki', from al-A'mash, from al-Ma'rur ibn Suwayd who said: We went out with Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) as pilgrims, and he led us in the Fajr prayer and recited "Have you not seen" [Surah al-Fil] and "For the accustomed security of the Quraysh" [Surah Quraysh].
