أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ نا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ نا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الدُّورِيُّ ثنا يُونُسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ح وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ الْمُزَكِّي أنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ كَامِلِ بْنِ خَلَفٍ الْقَاضِي بِبَغْدَادَ نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ الْأَزْرَقُ نا يُونُسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ثنا فُلَيْحُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ عَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ تَمِيمٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ تَوَضَّأَ مَرَّتَيْنِ مَرَّتَيْنِ
English Translation
'Ammar ibn Yasir narrated: 'I was in a state of janabah and could not find water. I rolled in the dust (like an animal rolls). I mentioned this to the Prophet (peace be upon him), and he said: "It would have been sufficient for you to do like this" — then he struck the earth with his hands once, then wiped his left hand with his right and wiped his face.'
