وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ الْفَقِيهُ ثنا أَبُو الْفَضْلِ عَبْدُوسُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ السِّمْسَارُ ثنا أَبُو حَاتِمٍ الرَّازِيُّ ثنا الْأَنْصَارِيُّ يَعْنِي مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْمُثَنَّى حَدَّثَنِي حُمَيْدٌ الطَّوِيلُ قَالَ قَالَ أَنَسٌ قَدِمْنَا مَعَ أَبِي مُوسَى الْأَشْعَرِيِّ فَصَلَّى بِنَا الْغَدَاةَ بِالْمِرْبَدِ ثُمَّ انْتَهَيْنَا إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ فَأُقِيمَتِ الصَّلَاةُ فَصَلَّيْنَا مَعَ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ
English Translation
Abu Tahir al-Faqih informed us, Abu al-Fadl Abdus ibn al-Husayn al-Simsar narrated to us, Abu Hatim al-Razi narrated to us, al-Ansari — meaning Muhammad ibn Abdullah ibn al-Muthanna — narrated to us, Humayd al-Tawil narrated to me. He said: Anas said: 'We came with Abu Musa al-Ash'ari, and he led us in the morning prayer at al-Mirbad. Then we reached the mosque and the prayer was called, so we prayed with al-Mughirah ibn Shu'bah.'
