English Translation
Abu Ali al-Rudhbari informed us, Muhammad ibn Bakr informed us, Abu Dawud narrated to us, Muslim ibn Ibrahim narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us from Sulayman from Umarah from al-Aswad ibn Yazid from Abdullah who said: Let none of you give a share to the Shaytan from his prayer by thinking he must turn only to his right. I have seen the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) most often turning to his left. Umarah said: I later visited Madinah and saw that the houses of the Prophet (peace be upon him) were on his left side.
