English Translation
Ali ibn Abdan informed us, Ahmad ibn Ubayd narrated to us, Yahya ibn Muhammad al-Hinna'i narrated to us, al-Fudayl ibn al-Husayn narrated to us, Alilah ibn Badr narrated to us, Antuanah narrated to us from al-Hasan from Anas who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'O Anas, make your gaze where you prostrate.' It was narrated from Mujahid and Qatadah that they used to dislike closing the eyes in prayer. A connected hadith has been narrated about it, but it amounts to nothing.
