أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ وَأَبُو صَادِقِ بْنُ أَبِي الْفَوَارِسِ الْعَطَّارُ قَالَا ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الصَّغَانِيُّ ثنا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ قَالَ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ عَبَّاسِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ زَارَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ عَبَّاسًا فِي بَادِيَةٍ لَنَا وَلَنَا كُلَيْبَةٌ وَحِمَارَةٌ تَرْعَى فَصَلَّى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الْعَصْرَ وَهُمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ لَمْ تُؤَخَّرَا وَلَمْ تُزْجَرَا
English Translation
Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz and Abu Sadiq ibn Abi al-Fawaris al-Attar informed us, they said: Abu al-Abbas Muhammad ibn Ya'qub narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Ishaq al-Saghani narrated to us, Hajjaj ibn Muhammad narrated to us. He said: Ibn Jurayj said: Muhammad ibn Umar ibn Ali informed me from Abbas ibn Ubaydullah ibn Abbas from al-Fadl ibn Abbas who said: The Prophet (peace be upon him) visited Abbas in a rural area of ours. We had a small dog and a she-donkey grazing. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) prayed the Asr prayer while they were in front of him. They were not moved back nor driven away.
