أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ وَأَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو وَأَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السُّلَمِيُّ قِرَاءَةً ثنا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مَهْدِيٍّ الصَّيْدَلَانِيُّ لَفْظًا قَالُوا ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُنْقِذٍ الْمِصْرِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي إِدْرِيسُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ يَحْيَى عَنْ بَكْرَ بْنَ مُضَرَ عَنْ صَخْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ حَرْمَلَةَ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عُمَرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ يَقُولُ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ صَلَّى بِالنَّاسِ فَمَرَّ بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ حِمَارٌ فَقَالَ عَيَّاشُ بْنُ أَبِي رَبِيعَةَ سُبْحَانَ اللهِ سُبْحَانَ اللهِ فَلَمَّا سَلَّمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنِ الْمُسَبِّحُ آنِفًا سُبْحَانَ اللهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ؟ قَالَ فَقَالَ أَنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ أَنَّ الْحِمَارَ يَقْطَعُ الصَّلَاةَ قَالَ لَا يَقْطَعُ الصَّلَاةَ شَيْءٌ
English Translation
Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz, Abu Sa'id ibn Abi Amr, and Abu Abd al-Rahman al-Sulami informed us by reading, Ubayd ibn Muhammad ibn Muhammad ibn Mahdi al-Saydlani narrated to them, they said: Abu al-Abbas Muhammad ibn Ya'qub narrated to us, Ibrahim ibn Munqidh al-Misri narrated to us, Idris — meaning ibn Yahya — narrated to me from Bakr ibn Mudar from Sakhr ibn Abdullah ibn Harmalah that he heard Umar ibn Abd al-Aziz saying from Anas ibn Malik that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) led the people in prayer and a donkey passed in front of them. Ayyash ibn Abi Rabi'ah said: Subhan Allah, Subhan Allah! When the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) gave the salam, he said: Who was the one saying Subhan Allah just now? He said: I was, O Messenger of Allah. I heard that a donkey interrupts the prayer. He said: 'Nothing interrupts the prayer.'
