أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ وَأَبُو أَحْمَدَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ الْمِهْرَجَانِيُّ قَالَا ثنا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الشَّيْبَانِيُّ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ ثنا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي عُبَيْدٍ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الْأَكْوَعِ قَالَ لَمْ يَكُنْ بَيْنَ الْمِنْبَرِ وَبَيْنَ الْحَائِطِ إِلَّا قَدْرُ مَمَرِّ الشَّاةِ
English Translation
Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz and Abu Ahmad Abdullah ibn Muhammad ibn al-Hasan al-Mihrajani informed us, they said: Abu Abdullah Muhammad ibn Ya'qub al-Shaybani narrated to us, Ibrahim ibn Abdullah narrated to us, Abu Asim narrated to us from Yazid ibn Abi Ubayd from Salama ibn al-Akwa' who said: Between the minbar and the wall, there was only the space for a sheep to pass.
