أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْقَطَّانُ بِبَغْدَادَ أنبأ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ حَرْبٍ الطَّائِيُّ قَالَ ثنا أَبُو جَدِّي عَلِيُّ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ هُوَ الْحَفَرِيُّ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِذَا صَلَّى يَعْنِي الصُّبْحَ جَلَسَ فِي مُصَلَّاهُ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ
English Translation
Abu Hurairah narrated that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "The five daily prayers, and from one Friday to the next, are expiation for what is between them, as long as major sins are avoided."
