أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ أنبأ أَبُو مُحَمَّدِ بْنُ شَوْذَبَ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ثنا شُعَيْبُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ يُونُسَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ حَلَفَ بِسُورَةٍ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ فَعَلَيْهِ بِكُلِّ آيَةِ كَفَّارَةٌ إِنْ شَاءَ بَرَّ وَإِنْ شَاءَ فَجَرَ
English Translation
Al-Hasan reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever swears by a surah of the Quran, then for every verse there is an expiation; whether he fulfills the oath or breaks it.
