English Translation
Anas ibn Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that a Jewish woman brought the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) a poisoned sheep. He ate from it. She was then brought to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and he asked her about it. She said: I intended to kill you. He said: 'Allah would not have given you power over that.' They said: Shall we not kill her? He said: 'No.' Anas said: I continued to see the traces of it in the palate of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him).
