أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا أَبُو عُتْبَةَ ثنا بَقِيَّةُ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ؓ أَنَّهُ سُئِلَ عَمَّا يَسْقُطُ مِنَ النَّخْلَةِ أَنَأْكُلُ مِنْهُ؟ قَالَ البيهقي ١٩٦٤٧: عن
English Translation
Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz informed us: Abu al-Abbas Muhammad ibn Ya'qub narrated to us: Abu Utbah narrated to us: Baqiyyah narrated to us, from Shu'bah, from Ayyub, from Nafi, from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them), that he was asked about what falls from the date-palm: "May we eat from it?"
