أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الْمُقْرِئُ بْنُ الْحَمَّامِيِّ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَلْمَانَ ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُكْرَمٍ ثنا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ثنا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ عَنْ مَيْمُونٍ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ ؓ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ تَدَاوَوْا مِنْ ذَاتِ الْجَنْبِ بِالزَّيْتِ وَالْقُسْطِ الْبَحْرِيِّ وَرَوَاهُ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَيْمُونٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ ؓ قَالَ نَعَتَ لَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ ذَاتَ الْجَنْبِ وَرْسًا وَزَيْتًا وَقُسْطًا
English Translation
Abu al-Hasan Ali ibn Ahmad al-Muqri' ibn al-Hammami informed us, Ahmad ibn Salman narrated to us, al-Hasan ibn Mukram narrated to us, Muslim ibn Ibrahim narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us from Khalid al-Hadhdha', from Maymun Abu Abdullah, from Zayd ibn Arqam (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Treat pleurisy with olive oil and Indian costus." And Abd al-Rahman ibn Maymun narrated it from his father, from Zayd ibn Arqam (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) prescribed for pleurisy: wars [a yellow plant], olive oil, and costus."
