English Translation
And Abu Bakr ibn Furak informed us, Abdullah ibn Ja'far narrated to us, Yunus ibn Habib narrated to us, Abu Dawud narrated to us, Hisham narrated to us from Abu al-Zubayr, from Jabir ibn Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace be upon him) had himself cupped while in the state of ihram due to a sprain that was in his hip - or he said "in his back." So it appears that he (peace be upon him) had himself cupped on his head while in the state of ihram due to a sprain or headache, as we have narrated in the hadith of Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him).
