أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ الْمِهْرَجَانِيُّ أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْمُزَكِّي ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ثنا ابْنُ بُكَيْرٍ ثنا مَالِكٌ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ؓ أَنَّهُ لَمْ يَكُنْ يَسْأَلُهُ أَحَدٌ مِنْ وَلَدِهِ عَقِيقَةً إِلَّا أَعْطَاهُ إِيَّاهَا وَكَانَ يَعُقُّ عَنْ أَوْلَادِهِ شَاةً شَاةً عَنِ الذَّكَرِ وَالْأُنْثَى
English Translation
Abu Ahmad al-Mihrajani informed us > Abu Bakr ibn Ja'far al-Muzakki > Muhammad ibn Ibrahim > Ibn Bukayr > Malik > Nafi' > Abdullah ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him): No one from his children would ask him for an aqiqah without him providing it. He used to perform aqiqah for his children — one sheep each for males and females.
