أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو أَحْمَدَ الْحَافِظُ أنبأ أَبُو عَرُوبَةَ ثنا بُنْدَارٌ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى وَيَحْيَى بْنُ حَكِيمٍ قَالُوا ثنا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ ؓ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يُضَحِّي بِكَبْشَيْنِ وَيَضَعُ رِجْلَهُ عَلَى صِفَاحِهِمَا فَيَذْبَحُهُمَا بِيَدِهِ وَيَقُولُ بِسْمِ اللهِ وَاللهُ أَكْبَرُ
English Translation
Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz informed us, Abu Ahmad al-Hafiz informed me, Abu Arubah informed us, Bundar, Muhammad ibn al-Muthanna, and Yahya ibn Hakim informed us, they said: Ibn Abi Adiyy narrated to us from Sa'id from Qatadah from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to sacrifice two rams, placing his foot on their sides, slaughtering them with his own hand, and saying: "In the name of Allah, and Allah is the Greatest."
