English Translation
The hadith cited as evidence was narrated by Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz, Abu Bakr Ahmad ibn al-Hasan the judge, and Abu Zakariyya ibn Abi Ishaq, they said: Abu al-Abbas Muhammad ibn Ya'qub narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Abdullah ibn Abd al-Hakam informed us, Ibn Wahb informed us, Malik ibn Anas informed me from Abdullah ibn Abi Bakr, from Amrah bint Abd al-Rahman, from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) who said: "I twisted the garlands of the sacrificial animals of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) with my own hands, then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) garlanded them with his own two hands, then sent them with Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him). Then nothing that Allah had made lawful for the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) became forbidden to him until the sacrificial animals were slaughtered." Both [al-Bukhari and Muslim] included it in their Sahih collections from the hadith of Malik.
