أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ أنبأ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ بْنِ سُفْيَانَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أنبأ مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرّ��حْمَنِ بْنِ كَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فِي قِصَّةِ بَنِي النَّضِيرِ وَمَا أَجْمَعُوا عَلَيْهِ مِنَ الْمَكْرِ بِالنَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ فَلَمَّا كَانَ الْغَدُ غَدَا عَلَيْهِمْ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِالْكَتَائِبِ فَحَصَرَهُمْ فَقَالَ لَهُمْ إِنَّكُمْ وَاللهِ لَا تَأْمَنُونَ عِنْدِي إِلَّا بِعَهْدٍ تُعَاهِدُونَنِي عَلَيْهِ فَأَبَوْا أَنْ يُعْطُوهُ عَهْدًا فَقَاتَلَهُمْ يَوْمَهُمْ ذَلِكَ ثُمَّ غَدَا عَلَى بَنِي قُرَيْظَةَ بِالْكَتَائِبِ وَتَرَكَ بَنِي النَّضِيرِ وَدَعَاهُمْ إِلَى أَنْ يُعَاهِدُوهُ فَعَاهَدُوهُ فَانْصَرَفَ عَنْهُمْ وَغَدَا إِلَى بَنِي النَّضِيرِ بِالْكَتَائِبِ فَقَاتَلَهُمْ حَتَّى نَزَلُوا عَلَى الْجَلَاءِ فَهَذَا عَهْدُ بَنِي قُرَيْظَةَ
English Translation
A man from the companions of the Prophet (peace be upon him) narrated about the story of Banu al-Nadir and their plot against the Prophet: The next morning, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) marched against them with his troops and besieged them. He said to them: By Allah, you will not be safe from me unless you give me a treaty. They refused, so he fought them that day. Then he marched against Banu Qurayzah and offered them a treaty, which they accepted. He then returned to Banu al-Nadir and fought them until they agreed to be expelled. This was the treaty with Banu Qurayzah.
