English Translation
Abdullah ibn al-Mukaddam al-Thaqafi narrated: When the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) besieged the people of Ta'if, slaves came out to him, including Abu Bakrah who was a slave of al-Harith ibn Kaladah, and al-Munba'ith, and Yuhannas, and Wardan, among a group of their slaves. They accepted Islam. When the delegation of Ta'if came to the Messenger of Allah and accepted Islam, they said: O Messenger of Allah, return to us our slaves who came to you. He said: No, those are Allah's emancipated ones. He assigned the patronage of each slave to his former master. This narration is disconnected.
