أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ بِشْرَانَ أنبأ إِسْمَاعِيلُ الصَّفَّارُ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أنبأ مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ؓ قَالَتْ دَخَ��َ رَهْطٌ مِنَ الْيَهُودِ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالُوا السَّامُ عَلَيْكُمْ فَقَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ فَفَهِمْتُهَا فَقُلْتُ عَلَيْكُمُ السَّامُ وَاللَّعْنَةُ قَالَتْ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ مَهْلًا يَا عَائِشَةُ إِنَّ اللهَ يُحِبُّ الرِّفْقَ فِي الْأَمْرِ كُلِّهِ قَالَتْ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَلَمْ تَسْمَعْ مَا قَالُوا؟ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ قَدْ قُلْتُ عَلَيْكُمْ
English Translation
Abu al-Husayn ibn Bishran informed us, Isma'il al-Saffar narrated to us, Ahmad ibn Mansur narrated to us, 'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Ma'mar informed us from al-Zuhri, from 'Urwah, from 'A'ishah (may Allah be pleased with her), who said: A group of Jews entered upon the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) and said: "Al-sam (death) be upon you." 'A'ishah said: I understood what they said, so I said: "Upon you be death and the curse." She said: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Easy, O 'A'ishah! Indeed, Allah loves gentleness in all matters." She said: I said: "O Messenger of Allah, did you not hear what they said?" The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "I did say: 'And upon you.'"
