وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْقَاضِي ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ الْأَصَمُّ أنبأ الرَّبِيعُ أنبأ الشَّافِعِيُّ أنبأ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْحُوَيْرِثِ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ ضَرَبَ عَلَى نَصْرَانِيٍّ بِمَكَّةَ يُقَالُ لَهُ مَوْهَبٌ دِينَارًا كُلَّ سَنَةٍ وَأَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ ضَرَبَ عَلَى نَصَارَى أَيْلَةَ ثَلَاثَمِائَةِ دِينَارٍ كُلَّ سَنَةٍ وَأَنْ يُضَيِّفُوا مَنْ مَرَّ بِهِمْ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ ثَلَاثًا وَأَنْ لَا يَغُشُّوا مُسْلِمًا
English Translation
Abu Bakr ibn al-Hasan al-Qadi informed us > Abu al-Abbas al-Asamm > al-Rabi' > al-Shafi'i > Ibrahim ibn Muhammad > Abu al-Huwayrith, that the Prophet (peace be upon him) imposed upon a Christian in Makkah called Mawhab a dinar every year, and that the Prophet (peace be upon him) imposed upon the Christians of Aylah three hundred dinars every year, and that they should provide hospitality to Muslims who pass by them for three days, and that they should not deceive any Muslim.
