أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو وَأَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ قَالَا ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ رَجَاءٍ أنبأ عِمْرَانُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الْمَلِيحِ عَنْ وَاثِلَةَ بْنِ الْأَسْقَعِ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ نَزَلَتْ صُحُفُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَوَّلَ لَيْلَةٍ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ وَأُنْزِلَتِ التَّوْرَاةُ لِسِتٍّ مَضَيْنَ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ وَأُنْزِلَ الْإِنْجِيلُ لِثَلَاثَ عَشْرَةَ خَلَتْ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ وَأُنْزِلَ الزَّبُورُ لِثَمَانَ عَشْرَةَ خَلَتْ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ وَالْقُرْآنُ لِأَرْبَعٍ وَعِشْرِينَ خَلَتْ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ وَفِيمَا رَوَى الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ صُبَيْحٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ الْبَصْرِيِّ قَالَ أَنْزَلَ اللهُ مِائَةً وَأَرْبَعَةَ كُتُبٍ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ
English Translation
Abu Sa'id ibn Abi Amr and Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz informed us > Abu al-Abbas Muhammad ibn Ya'qub > Muhammad ibn Ali > Abdullah ibn Raja' > Imran > Qatadah > Abu al-Malih > Wathilah ibn al-Asqa', that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "The Scriptures of Ibrahim were revealed on the first night of Ramadan, the Torah was revealed on the sixth of Ramadan, the Gospel was revealed on the thirteenth of Ramadan, the Psalms were revealed on the eighteenth of Ramadan, and the Quran was revealed on the twenty-fourth of Ramadan."
