أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ دَاسَةَ ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَسَّانَ ثنا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ رَبَاحٍ الذِّمَارِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَمِّي نِمْرَانُ بْنُ عُتْبَةَ الذِّمَارِيُّ قَالَ دَخَلْنَا عَلَى أُمِّ الدَّرْدَاءِ وَنَحْنُ أَيْتَامٌ فَقَالَتْ أَبْشِرُوا فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الدَّرْدَاءِ يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُشَفَّعُ الشَّهِيدُ فِي سَبْعِينَ مِنْ أَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ صَوَابُهُ رَبَاحُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ
English Translation
Abu Ali al-Rudhbari informed us, from Abu Bakr ibn Dasah, from Abu Dawud, from Ahmad ibn Salih, from Yahya ibn Hassan, from al-Walid ibn Rabah al-Dhimari who said: My uncle Nimran ibn Utbah al-Dhimari narrated to me, saying: We visited Umm al-Darda' when we were orphans, and she said: Rejoice, for I heard Abu al-Darda' say: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: The martyr will intercede for seventy of his household. Abu Dawud said: The correct name is Rabah ibn al-Walid.
