English Translation
Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz informed us, from Abu Muhammad al-Hasan ibn Muhammad ibn Halim, from Abu al-Muwajjih, from Abdan, from Abdullah, from al-Awza'i, from Ishaq ibn Abi Talhah, from Anas ibn Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: Abu Talhah used to shield himself with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) behind one shield, and Abu Talhah was an excellent archer. Whenever he shot, the Prophet (peace be upon him) would raise himself to look at where his arrows landed.
