أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ بِشْرَانَ أنبأ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ثنا سَعْدَانُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ ثنا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ قَالَ قَدْ بَعَثَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ مَسْعُودٍ وَخَبَّابًا سَرِيَّةً وَبَعَثَ دِحْيَةَ سَرِيَّةً وَحْدَهُ
English Translation
Discussion of the conditions for permissible competitions with prizes — the competition must involve skill, the rules must be fair, and the prizes must not come from the competitors themselves (to avoid gambling).
