وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ الْأَصَمُّ ثنا بَحْرُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ بُكَيْرٍ أَنَّ السُّنَّةَ مَضَتْ بِأَنْ لَا يُقْتَلَ الْحُرُّ الْمُسْلِمُ بِالْعَبْدِ وَإِنْ قَتَلَهُ عَمْدًا وَعَلَيْهِ الْعَقْلُ
English Translation
Discussion of the scholarly views on whether a free man is executed for killing a slave — the majority of scholars held that he is not, while the Hanafis held that he is.
