وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ أنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عُمَرَ نا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ نا أَبُو إِبْرَاهِيمَ الزَّاهِدِيُّ نا النُّفَيْلِيُّ قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مَعْقِلِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ قَالَ أَدْنَى وَقْتِ الْحَيْضِ يَوْمٌ قَالَ أَبُو إِبْرَاهِيمَ إِلَى هَذَيْنِ الْحَدِيثَيْنِ كَانَ يَذْهَبُ الْإِمَامُ الْوَرِعُ الْإِمَامُ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ رَحِمَهُ اللهُ تَعَالَى
English Translation
The minimum period of pregnancy discussed by scholars is six months, based on the Quranic verses about pregnancy and nursing totaling thirty months and nursing being two years. Therefore, if a woman gives birth less than six months after marriage consummation, the husband may deny the child.
