أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ وَأَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ بِشْرَانَ قَالَا نا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّفَّارُ نا سَعْدَانُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ نا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنِ الْحَجَّاجِ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنِ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ ؓ قَالَ إِذَا حَكَمَ أَحَدُ الْحَكَمَيْنِ وَلَمْ يَحْكُمِ الْآخَرُ فَلَيْسَ حُكْمُهُ بِشَيْءٍ حَتَّى يَجْتَمِعَا
English Translation
Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz informed us... regarding the hadith of stoning, from Ali (may Allah be pleased with him), who stoned a woman on a Friday and said: I have flogged her according to the Book of Allah and stoned her according to the Sunnah of the Prophet (peace be upon him).
