English Translation
Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz informed us... from Ja'far bin Amr bin Umayyah, that his father Amr bin Umayyah told him that he saw the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) cutting from a shoulder of mutton in his hand. He was called to prayer, so he put it down along with the knife he had been cutting with, then he stood and prayed without making wudu.
