أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ حَدَّثَنِي عَلِيُّ بْنُ حَمْشَاذٍ الْعَدْلُ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أنبأ عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أنبأ مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ أَنَّ غَيْلَانَ بْنَ سَلَمَةَ أَسْلَمَ وَعِنْدَهُ عَشْرُ نِسْوَةٍ فَأَمَرَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَنْ يَخْتَارَ مِنْهُنَّ أَرْبَعًا وَكَذَلِكَ
English Translation
Narration about the Prophet's fasting habits — he would fast until people thought he would not break his fast, and he would break his fast until people thought he would not fast.
