وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الصَّفَّارُ ثنا ابْنُ أَبِي قِمَاشٍ ثنا دَاوُدُ بْنُ رُشَيْدٍ عَنِ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ دُرَيْكٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أُمِّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَنَّ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ؓ دَخَلَتْ عَلَيْهَا وَعِنْدَهَا النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فِي ثِيَابٍ شَامِيَّةٍ رِقَاقٍ فَضَرَبَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِلَى الْأَرْضِ بِبَصَرِهِ قَالَ مَا هَذَا يَا أَسْمَاءُ إِنَّ الْمَرْأَةَ إِذَا بَلَغَتِ الْمَحِيضَ لَمْ يَصْلُحْ أَنْ يُرَى مِنْهَا إِلَّا هَذَا وَهَذَا وَأَشَارَ إِلَى كَفِّهِ وَوَجْهِهِ
English Translation
Aishah, the Mother of the Believers, narrated that Asma' bint Abi Bakr entered upon the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) wearing thin clothes. The Messenger of Allah turned away from her and said: "O Asma', when a woman reaches the age of menstruation, nothing should be seen of her except this and this" — and he pointed to his face and hands.
