أَخْبَرَنَاهُ أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ بِشْرَانَ أنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّفَّارُ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ غَالِبِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ ثنا يُونُسُ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ مَعْقِلِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَعْطَى الْجَدَّةَ السُّدُسَ وَرُوِيَ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ 12341 أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ بْنُ عَبْدَانَ أنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ أَخُو خَطَّابٍ ثنا ابْنُ حُمَيْدٍ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْمُخْتَارِ ثنا شُعْبَةُ فَذَكَرَهُ بِمِثْلِهِ وَكَذَلِكَ
English Translation
Abu Sa'id informed us: Abu Abdullah narrated to us: Muhammad ibn Nasr narrated to us: Muhammad ibn Bakkar narrated to us: Ibn Abi al-Zinad narrated from his father from Kharijah from his father Zayd: Regarding emancipation and patronage (wala'): the patronage belongs to the one who frees, whether male or female. The patron's share of inheritance is what remains after the fixed shares have been distributed. The male patron and the female patron are equal in this.
