وَأَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ أنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ ثنا تَمْتَامٌ ثنا عَبْدُ الْمُتَعَالِ بْنُ طَالِبٍ قَالَ ثنا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ثنا الْخَلِيلُ بْنُ مُرَّةَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ لَا يَرِثُ الْمُسْلِمُ الْكَافِرَ وَلَا الْكَافِرُ الْمُسْلِمَ وَلَا يَتَوَارَثُونَ أَهْلُ مِلَّتَيْنِ
English Translation
Ali ibn Ahmad ibn Abdan informed us: Ahmad ibn Ubayd narrated to us: Tamtam narrated to us: Abd al-Muta'al ibn Talib narrated to us: Ibn Wahb narrated to us: al-Khalil ibn Murrah narrated from Qatadah from Amr ibn Shu'ayb from his father from his grandfather Abdullah ibn Amr from the Prophet (peace be upon him) who said: A Muslim does not inherit from a disbeliever, nor does a disbeliever inherit from a Muslim, and people of two different religions do not inherit from each other.
