English Translation
Aishah narrated that a man bought a slave and kept him for as long as Allah willed. Then he found a defect in him and took the matter to the Prophet (peace be upon him). The Prophet returned the slave to the seller. The seller said: "O Messenger of Allah, he has used my slave's services!" The Prophet said: "The yield (benefit) goes to the one who bears responsibility (for the item's loss)."
