قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ : مَالِكٌ عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا يَزَالُ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي صَلَاةٍ مَا دَامَتْ الصَّلَاةُ تَحْبِسُهُ لَا يَمْنَعُهُ أَنْ يَنْقَلِبَ إِلَى أَهْلِهِ إِلَّا الصَّلَاةُ.
English Translation
He said: I read to 'Abd al-Rahman: Malik, from Abu al-Zinad, from al-A'raj, from Abu Hurayrah, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "One of you continues to be in prayer as long as the prayer detains him; nothing prevents him from returning to his family except the prayer."
